⚠️ Important Notice: Due to zero-knowledge encryption, we cannot recover lost passwords, vault keys, or decrypt content. If you've lost access credentials, the content is permanently inaccessible—even to us. Please store vault credentials securely.
What We Can Help With
- Technical Issues: Bugs, errors, or problems with the service
- Feature Requests: Suggestions for improvements or new features
- General Questions: How TimeVault works, security details, or usage guidance
- Abuse Reports: Illegal content, spam, or terms of service violations
- Security Vulnerabilities: Responsible disclosure of security issues
- Partnership Inquiries: Business or collaboration opportunities
What We Cannot Help With
We CANNOT assist with:
- Lost Passwords: Passwords are not stored and cannot be recovered
- Lost Vault Keys: Vault keys are generated client-side and not stored
- Content Access: We cannot decrypt vaults or bypass time locks
- Early Deletion: Vaults cannot be deleted before unlock time
- Unlock Time Changes: Unlock times are immutable once set
- Content Recovery: Deleted vaults are permanently gone
These limitations are by design—they're what makes TimeVault secure and private. Zero-knowledge encryption means we have no access to your content or credentials.
Abuse Reporting Guidelines
If you discover illegal or abusive content in a TimeVault vault, please report it immediately. When reporting, include:
- Vault URL: The full link to the problematic vault
- Vault Key: If applicable (for key-based vaults)
- Password: If the vault is password-protected
- Description: What type of abuse or violation you're reporting
- Screenshots: If possible, to help with verification
Types of abuse to report:
- Illegal content (child exploitation, terrorism, etc.)
- Harassment, threats, or doxxing
- Copyright infringement
- Phishing or malware distribution
- Spam or bulk abuse
Note: Due to encryption, we cannot proactively scan content. We rely on user reports to identify and remove abusive vaults.
